Plot sizes and prices
Plots in the city centre:
sizes 1000m2 – 1400m2, prices 2 € – 12 €/m2
Plots in villages and urban areas:
sizes 1000m2 – 5700m2, prices 1,2€ – 5,5, € /m2
The zoned plots are equipped with municipal services: water and sewerage networks and streets managed by the city.

Reservation and purchase of a plot of land
The plot reservation fee is €70 and the application can be submitted all year round using the online plot reservation form. The reservation is valid for six months from the date of the reservation decision. Plots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
The deed of sale is drawn up by the city. The purchase price must be paid at the time the deed is signed. The undeveloped land may not be resold without the consent of the city.
Things to consider when planning construction
- The plot must be built to a habitable standard within three years of signing the deed.
- The suitability of your own project for the site. Please check in good time with the building control.
- Comply with the zoning regulations and any building regulations for the plot.
General information for the builder
- The water and sewerage connections will be purchased from Loimaan Vesi-liikelaitos.
- The electricity connection is agreed between the customer and the electricity supplier. In the Loimaa area, electricity is mainly supplied by Sallila Sähkönsiirto Oy. In the Mellilä area, the electricity is supplied by Caruna Oy.
- District heat is supplied by Loimaan Kaukolämpö Oy.
- Other costs include: parcel costs, conveyancer’s fee, legal registration costs, transfer tax of 4%.
