The City of Loimaa has started work on the renewal of the building regulations. The current building regulations entered into force on 1.10.2017. The new Building Act governing construction will enter into force on 1.1.2025 and in connection with its implementation, municipalities will have to renew their building regulations to comply with the new Act.

Start-up phase

The participation and assessment plan has been approved by the Permit Committee and will be available for inspection from 12.2.-13.3.2024 at the Building and Environmental Inspectorate (Loimijoentie 74, Alastaro) and on the city’s website.

The participation and assessment plan has been updated in the Permit Committee on 10 December 2024.

Proposal stage

On January 28, 2025, the Permit Committee approved the proposal for a new building order for Loimaa and decided to make it publicly available. In accordance with section 19 of RakL, the construction order proposal will be kept open for viewing between February 5 and March 7, 2025.

Participants and members of the municipality have the opportunity to present their opinion on the building order proposal. Opinions must be submitted in writing no later than March 7, 2025 at 3 p.m. by e-mail: rakennus.ymparistovalvonta@loimaa.fi or alternatively to the address Loimaa kaupunki, Rakennusvalvonta, Loimijoentie 74, 32440 Alastaro.
