Welcome to Loimaa! I’m glad you’ve chosen Loimaa as your new home! Every new resident will receive a Welcome to Loimaa card. The card will be sent out about 1-2 months after your move. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency will provide the information on the movers.

The card asks if you are interested in receiving a migration package. If you answer in the affirmative, we will send you a package containing a welcome letter from the Chairman of the City Executive Board, free tickets to the city’s attractions (Vesihovi swimming hall, Hirvihovi gym, Patsaspuisto and Art House), a tourist brochure, a map, a Loimaantapahtumat.fi card (address to events in Loimaa), a Loimaa notepad and pen. Also included are reminders from the city’s partners for new residents, i.e. free tickets to Hurrikaani volleyball and Bisons basketball regular season games (in a package for about October-February, not including the final matches) and a special offer section of Loimaan Lehti newspaper.

The migrant package has been sent since Loimaa’s 50th anniversary year in 2019.
