Maps and geography
Measurement produces digital and graphic maps and supplies thematic and image data according to customer orders. Our mapping system is the AutoCAD-based YTCAD software for land use planning and map management. From our mapping system, we can supply digital map or image material in various file formats and with freely defined data content.
The City of Loimaa owns the copyright to the map and image data it produces. Their sale, distribution and use, for example in publication prints or on our own website, is only permitted under copyright law with the permission of the surveying technician.
Guide map, address names and address numbers
The Municipality of Metrology takes care of the municipal address system, assigning address numbers to buildings and properties and address names to areas outside the zoning plan. The new addresses are determined when the building permit is issued. Printed and printed four-colour guide maps, for the town centre and the built-up area, are available from the Land Surveyor’s Office and from the advice service at the town hall, among others. Electronic versions of the guide maps for the town centre, Alastaro, Mellilä and the outlying areas are available via the map and geographic information link in the contact details.
Stock atlas
The map, maintained digitally with YTCAD software, consists of several data elements that can be freely combined according to the customer’s needs: property boundaries, buildings, structures, terrain patterns, vegetation, water bodies, traffic routes, elevation curves and figures, district heating, water and sewer lines, overhead power lines and soil survey points, among others. The scale of the map printouts can be freely chosen.
