Open early childhood education and care
In Loimaa, open early childhood education activities include Open Morning Activities, which meet weekly. The meetings are held at the Open Early Childhood Education premises in Metsämarjat.
The Parenting Support Boutique offers low-threshold help with the challenges of family life. The service is aimed at carers of children under school age who need guidance and support in everyday life.
The peer groups are free of charge and provide an opportunity to get to know other families in the same life situation; to get peer support and resources for everyday life. The groups are organised around different themes. The evenings are open to families with children of early childhood age.

Open activities, family cafés and sports – Loimaa offers free and fun activities for the whole family every weekday. The activities are for everyone, and there is a low threshold to join in. Welcome to join in!
Programme for the period 2025-2026. Changes possible. There will be a break in activities during the autumn (42) and winter (8) holiday weeks. During the holiday weeks, activities for children, young people and families will be organised under the theme ” Things to do during the autumn holidays ” and “Things to do during the winter holidays”.

TUESDAY
Evening family coffee at 17.30-19.00

Coffee, tea, juice, free evening snack. In addition to play and coffee, the café offers a programme of activities with different themes, and visitors come to present their activities/services for families with children.
WEDNESDAY
Open morning activities from 9.00 to 11.00

Free play, fun activities and conversation for adults and children. Free breakfast at 9.00-10.00.
Family sports club at 10.30-11.15

Play and tricks for children under school age together with an adult. Bring a water bottle, flexible clothes and indoor shoes or barefoot.
THURSDAY
Morning family café from 9.00-11.00

Coffee, tea, juice and snacks. There will also be leftover food from Hirvikoski Unified School to take home, bring your own container.
