The Loimaa App is now available for download

The City of Loimaa has released the Loimaa App, a smartphone application that brings together useful information about Loimaa. With the app, you can keep up with current events and easily find information all in one place. The Loimaa app is now available for download from app stores.

For both residents and visitors

The Loimaa app does not replace the city’s website, which offers a wealth of information. However, the app provides a quick and easy way to access key information. The first version places particular emphasis on participatory features, such as surveys, feedback, and fault reports. This allows residents to have even better opportunities to participate in the development of the municipality.

Municipal announcements are also published in the app. In addition, it enables the use of a digital library card and brings together information on municipal events, job openings, and recycling points.

When you arrive in Loimaa—whether you’re a tourist or a casual visitor—you won’t need separate maps or a lengthy search for information. With the app, you can easily find attractions and experiences right on your phone exactly when you need them. The app helps you navigate from one destination to another and also discover events that you might otherwise miss.

Easy to use

The Loimaa app is free and quick to download from the app store. No registration or personal information is required to get started—you can start browsing the content right away.

New content is planned for the app in future updates. To support development, ideas are collected from users through app surveys so that the app continues to evolve according to user needs. You can also submit ideas via the Feedback section.

The app was developed in collaboration with Tampere-based Peanuts Group, which has extensive experience in developing various types of apps.
