The City of Loimaa participates in the Okra Fair
The Okra Fair at Oripää Airport on 2-5 July will again attract thousands and thousands of visitors. The City of Loimaa and Loimaa Trade and Services will be there to promote Loimaa on a 50-metre block, so there will be plenty to see at stands D44 and D45.
The City of Loimaa stand is D45 (nearest entrance gate 4), where the City of Loimaa, the Loimaa Society and the Sarka Finnish Museum of Agriculture will be represented alongside the City of Loimaa’s projects Smart Villages and Discovery Tour to the Loimaa Region.
At the city stand there are activities for families with children, such as a playhouse where children can colour pictures, helium balloons and transfiguration, i.e. children’s tattoo. There’s a memory game for kids and for older ones alike, mini-golf and a bucket toss to test your throwing accuracy. There are 10 black and white Loimaa wheat cob signs hidden in the section… spot at least 7 and win a prize!
The Sarka Museum brings pedal-tractors for the kids and old equipment identification for the older ones. There are also benches in the section if you’re out of breath and want to relax for a while.
Loimaa products will also be on sale, so if you fancy a t-shirt, hoodie, cap, water bottle or mug, come and get yours.
We’ve got four days of action and hustle and bustle – welcome!
