Residents’ magazine 2025 published

The new residents’ magazine “Space for success stories” produced by the City of Loimaa provides up-to-date information on the city’s development, living comfort and upcoming events. The magazine also serves as a tourist guide – providing tips on interesting destinations and summer events in Loimaa.

During the summer, Loimaa hosts a number of major events that attract visitors from across the municipal and provincial borders. For example, the PowerCup and the Okra agricultural exhibition offer opportunities to distribute the magazine to visitors interested in the city. While this year’s magazine will focus on tourism content, the focus will also remain on the everyday lives of residents.

The Resident magazine will be distributed to all households in Lomaa during week 20 including those mailboxes where advertising is prohibited, as it is the official information magazine of the city. If you haven’t received a magazine, you can pick one up from the library, where we will deliver extra ones. The magazine can also be read in digital format at loimaa.fi/asukaslehti. The next issue will be published in May 2026 and will once again bring together the most topical issues concerning the daily life and development of the town.

New content and participatory activities

The magazine is developed every year, and this year’s new feature is a ‘puuhanurkkaus’, a new activity corner with activities for all ages – both children and parents. Some of the answers to the exercises can be found in the magazine, while all the answers can be found on the town’s website (loimaa.fi/asukaslehti).

Internationalism is also present: for the first time, an article in English is included, presenting the contents of the town’s English-language website.
