Jokiranta park and playground for toddlers are open

The city of Loimaa has renovated two new park areas for the enjoyment of its residents. The Jokiranta park area is a central part of the city center and also part of the city center development project. A playground for toddlers has been opened in the Pumppaamo playground, which is specifically designed for toddlers to enjoy.

The riverbank in Loimaa has been given a fresh new look and now invites visitors to relax in the heart of the city. The renovated area offers beautiful views of the river, comfortable benches, and the gentle shade of trees—the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Or even just to sit down for an ice cream, spend time with friends, or simply watch the flowing water in peace. In summer, the area comes to life, and its green surroundings make it an attractive resting place for both market visitors and passers-by.

The renovation of the riverbank has been on the wish list for a long time, and now this pleasant urban oasis is available to everyone. The renovation supports the revitalization of the city center and adds a beautiful, shared space right next to the market square.

A safe and cozy toddler park for the youngest members of the family

Loimaa’s new Pumppaamo playground offers activities and a safe play area that are just right for small children. The fenced-in area, peaceful surroundings, and inviting play equipment make the park safe and attractive. The fenced-in area also ensures that play stays within the park and bicycle traffic stays outside. The park’s surroundings are peaceful, yet conveniently close to the city center – the perfect place for family time together.

The toddler park is designed specifically for the needs of toddlers: versatile play equipment, soft surfaces, and a safe environment make it a carefree place to play. Nearby daycare centers and a cozy residential area make the park a pleasant meeting place for families with children.

Pumppaamo is the sixth toddler park in Loimaa. There are toddler parks for children under the age of 3 in connection with daycare centers (Hirvimetsä Daycare Center, Puistometsä Daycare Center, Sammonkatu Daycare Center and Peltoinen Daycare Center). These toddler parks are primarily for daycare centers during the day, but they are also available for families to use at other times. There is a toddler park open to everyone in the yard of Metsämarjat.
