Things to do for the autumn break
Loimaa will host a variety of events during the autumn break 2025, such as Water Spectacle and Water Zorb ball games, Water Safety Day, Superhero Day at the Main Library, Circus Camp, trips to Särkänniemi and ice hockey trips to Tampere and much more… Please note the pre-registration for the trips and the circus camp!
Water fun day and Water Zorb ball games!
Tue 14.10. from 10-14
Water fun day for children and young people and Water Zorb ball games! Swimming and play equipment free to use in the large pool with two lanes and in the educational part of the multipurpose pool. The Water Zorb ball is suitable for everyone and offers fun. Inside the ball you can trick, walk or relax.

On Tuesday 14.10, The Deceivers, which has been hugely popular on Channel 4, will take over Loimaa Citynuokkar during the autumn break.Around the round table, exciting puzzles will be solved and mind-blowing cases will be discussed. Sign up with Mirka by 10.10. tel. 050 467 4434. There is capacity for 20 participants. Citynuokkari is closed for other activities.
A whole family Water Safety Awareness Day!
Wed 15.10. at 14-17
Learn how to act responsibly and safely in and around the water under the guidance of professionals. A variety of checkpoints in the pool area, such as first aid and water rescue tasks, which you can freely walk around and feel free to try. The SPR Loimaa department is also involved. Note! Today’s light water exercise with hydrohex.
Superhero Day at the Main Library
Wed 15.10. at 10-12
Mask and bib making, face painting and a quilting track. You can also find out your own superhero name and if you want, you can come dressed as a superhero! The theme will be on display at the main library throughout the autumn holidays. Kauppalankatu 17, 32200 Loimaa.
Autumn holiday circus camp (8-12 years)
Wed-Thu 15.-16.10.
Circus camp Wed- Thu 10-14 at Hirvikoski Unified School gym.
Registration deadline 8.10. Register for the circus camp, or contact the office of the schools tel. 050 311 469.
The circus camp introduces you to different types of circus: acrobatics, juggling and balancing. You will practise, among other things, standing on your head, pyramids, diabolo tricks and riding a unicycle. The course is open to beginners as well as to those who have done circus before. Bring your own snacks and a water bottle, and wear your exercise clothes. Course price 27€ incl. equipment rental.
Scary Carnival event in Särkännieme
Wed 15.10.
Youth Services organise a trip to the Zombie Centre, Särkännieme. For departure times and schedules, visit loimaa.fi/nuoriloimaa. The cost of the trip is 35€ including a wristband and bus fare. The trip will be invoiced.

Register each participant on a separate form. Registration is binding. The trip will be invoiced afterwards. Please remember to fill in the billing details accurately and correctly.
Timetable: bus leaves at 12:00 Alastaro Hall, 12:15 Hirvikoski Unified School, 12.30 Mellilä nuokkari and 12.40 Citynuokkari.
The trip will be organised if there are at least 20 participants. If the trip is cancelled, the participants will be informed. Children under 12 years of age accompanied by an adult guardian. Ice hockey trip to Tampere

Tampere’s classic match and the first Manse battle of the season starts at Nokia Arena at 18.30. Seats are available in box B1. Seats are limited, so sign up quickly. Trip price: 40€ including match ticket and transport.

Skating shifts at Loimaa ice rink Mon-Tues and Thu-Fri
Free skating shifts during the autumn holidays (week 42) at Loimaa ice rink:
- Mon 13.10. – Tue 14.10. family skating shift 10.00 -13.55, ice hockey shift 14.05 -16.00
- Thu 16.10. – Fri 17.10. family skating shift 10.00 – 13.55, ice hockey shift 14.05 – 16.00
During the ice maintenance break between shifts, the ice is not in use. No sticks in the rink during the family skating shift. Helmets are mandatory at the rink. Loimaa Ice Rink Kaunismäenkatu 15, 32200 Loimaa.
Exercise and fairy tales at your own pace on fitness tracks
For the younger members of the family, a Fairy Tale Trail has been created on the southern fitness track, where you and Piki the Firebird can search for a new nest tree along the forest paths. If you like, there is also a small activity to do on the trails to make a fairy tale. You can also enjoy a picnic lunch at the lodge where the trail starts.
On the same track, there are also different tracks for bigger fitness enthusiasts, where you can activate your body or work up a sweat. You can choose the moves that suit the mood of the day. Both the Satupolku and the fitness trails have been created in cooperation with the nature and sports services Pohjan Akka Oy.
- Southern fitness track Kuusikatu 2, 32200 Loimaa – From the information board you can find information about the fitness track, but you can start doing movements from anywhere on the track. Lamminkatu 30, 32200 Loimaa From the P-point, it’s a short walk to the lava, where the saddle path starts.
There are also nature parkour fitness trails made by Suomen Ladu, suitable for all ages, on the Hirvikoski and Metsämaa fitness trails and on the Harjurei trail around Kantolaavu. You can find the trails with laminated pictures.
