In the summertime, the Loimaa Market Square offers music, theatre, exercise activities, and street basketball. The town is filled by various larger and smaller music festivals, such as CityFest, Kuissi Rock, Mellilä Riviera 2.0, and Sillanalusrock. Rompeloimaa is one of the largest swap meets in Finland, and also includes various side events in addition to shopping opportunities.
The villages surrounding the town host atmospheric countryside events, such as dances, events for vintage machinery enthusiasts, the Pajapäivät event, Elotori market, and a jumble sale tour of the countryside. In addition to the above, visitors can experience the unique Pyramidipiknik and the relaxed Kuutamokeikka and Melliläpäivä village festivals.
Available cultural events range from public performances of radio plays to art exhibitions and singalong events. Impressive vehicles can be seen at motorist meets and HeMa Show. Loimaa is also an accomplished sports town with several successful teams to ensure that you can enjoy the thrill of competition throughout the year.
