Play parks provide a functional and safe play environment for children, where they have the opportunity to grow and develop – play is a child’s work. The basic equipment in the twenty or so play parks (marked by signs) maintained and managed by the city includes a swing and a sandpit – a challenge for school-age children too. The playgrounds do not have winter maintenance.

Marski Play Park, in the centre of Loimaa, next to the main library, offers guided activities for children aged 3-6 during the holidays. For more information, see the Marski playground activities page.
